Vincent Costa focuses on corporate and transactional work.  He has successfully negotiated and closed a variety of complex corporate matters including business divorces, asset purchases, and financings, specifically in the healthcare, retail, and technology sectors.  He also has experience drafting and negotiating contracts for various business-related matters including non-competition, supply, distribution, licensing, and employment agreements.  Vincent’s practice also includes the representation of clients in employment discrimination matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and various state agencies, including the preparation of position statements and conducting internal investigations.

In law school, Vincent earned a Public Interest Law Fellowship as an intern for the Brookhaven Town Attorney’s Office and worked in the Mortgage Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Clinic at Touro Law School.  His legal experience also includes an internship in the legal department of a worldwide technology and software company and in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York focusing on white collar crime.

Vincent served as Editor-in-Chief of Touro Law Review and his Note “Admissibility of Field Test Results at Trial to Prove Intoxication” has been cited by New York State courts and criminal procedure treatises.
