Mark your calendar for LIMBA’s October 28 meeting when Marc Alessi, chair of our Startups and Economic Development practices, will discuss the development of the museum at the Tesla Science Center in Shoreham. Alessi has been asked to lead the development of the Center, which would be dedicated to science education and introducing visitors to Long Island’s rich scientific opportunities. The Center would also house a business incubator for fledgling companies engaged in scientific research. The Shoreham site contains the only remaining lab where Nikola Tesla, the inventor of alternating current electricity and neon lighting, conducted research.
