IT Coordinator

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP – a premier law firm with offices across Long Island – is seeking an entry-level IT Coordinator for a full-time, in-person role at our Ronkonkoma headquarters. This role will work directly with the Business IT Manager to support the firm’s daily technology operations and is an excellent opportunity to launch an IT career.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between firm staff and our Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Coordinate with the MSP to resolve IT tickets, escalate issues as necessary, and track progress through completion
  • Manage equipment moves, installations, and replacements
  • When needed, provide front-line support for hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Maintain records of software licenses, warranties, and hardware lifecycle
  • Maintain and update the firm’s IT asset inventory using Asset Panda
  • Support firm staff with Microsoft Office troubleshooting and document-related issues
  • Process check and credit card requests
  • Assist with the deployment of new systems and applications
  • Maintain documentation of IT procedures and best practices

Qualifications

  • Related associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft 365/Office Suite is a must
  • Experience with the following systems is a plus: SharePoint/OneDrive, Adobe Sign/Pro, ProLaw, RingCentral, Asset Panda, ShareFile
  • Ability to set up and configure desktops, thin clients, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, a Forbes-recognized top corporate law firm with offices across Long Island, seeks a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of relevant experience to work closely with high-net-worth clients of the law firm and a multifamily office. We are seeking an attorney familiar with estate and trust planning, estate administration, and general business tax, with an interest in sophisticated estate planning strategies. This position is based in our Ronkonkoma office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of estate plans for high-net-worth clients and draft estate planning documents
  • Stay up-to-date and be able to advise clients on relevant state and federal tax laws
  • Advise shareholders of closely held corporations on estate and gift tax issues, executive compensation issues, and business succession
  • Advise on charitable contributions and formation and operation of charitable foundations
  • Work closely with clients’ other professional advisors including legal, accounting, and finance
  • Assist with general tax planning for corporate clients
  • Probate administration and trust administration

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice in NYS
  • At least 2 years of related experience
