Finance Analyst/Associate – Strata

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP seeks a Finance Analyst/Associate with transaction (M&A) experience for Strata Alliance, a multi-family office. Based in Ronkonkoma, this full-time role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to work on a variety of exciting projects involving clients who are sophisticated business owners and high-net-worth individuals. Responsibilities: This Role Encompasses Three Different Work Streams and Responsibility Sets

  1. Family Office Alternative Investments
    • Collaborate with Director of Finance on analyzing, executing strategic/financial due diligence, and working through investment opportunities. Opportunities include proprietary direct investments and private equity fund investments.
    • Provide detailed market research and analytics to support the direct investment function
    • Manage day-to-day execution of the capital raise process within the Strata Alliance family network
    • Support Strata Director of Finance with ad hoc tasks and networking with family office and fund partners
  2. Financial Office Business Advisory
    • Provide family office clients with ad-hoc business advisory services to include financial analysis, financial modelling, and business valuation
    • Aid in business advisory services surrounding major liquidity events and/or inorganic growth opportunities to include:
      • Financial modelling, review and analysis
      • Due diligence support / process management – interacting with clients to procure accurate/timely provision of due diligence
      • Market valuation analysis
  3. Family Office Personal Financial Services
    • Aid in ad-hoc financial analyses of HNW client’s personal assets
    • Provide personal financial modelling to aid in wealth planning initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-4 years of mergers and acquisitions experience required, preferably gained through an investment banking, family office, private equity, or corporate development role
  • Excel fluency / expertise
  • Comfort / proficiency with financial analysis, financial statements, and company valuation.

Litigation Paralegal

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a full-time, in-person role at our Ronkonkoma headquarters. This position offers a great opportunity to work on a variety of litigation matters and make an impact at a fast-paced firm recognized by Forbes as a Top Corporate Law Firm.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with a variety of litigation matters including personal injury, insurance defense, commercial, landlord/tenant, and municipal
  • Assist attorneys with procedural requirements during all stages of litigation
  • Prepare/draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, stipulations, settlement documents, notices of appeal, appellate documents, letters, etc.
  • Prepare, serve, and file court documents, including e-filing
  • Review voluminous court orders and emails for appearances and deadlines and calendar/docket/manage those appearances and deadlines
  • Maintain attorney calendars with key dates, deadlines, and appearances
  • Prepare court and client documents including exhibits, bookmarking, OCRing, and Bates stamping
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and adversaries
  • Appropriately track and bill time
  • Opportunity to oversee and manage support staff depending on experience

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Must have knowledge of state and federal e-filing requirements
  • Working knowledge of e-discovery platforms a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
