Finance Analyst/Associate – Strata

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP seeks a Finance Analyst/Associate for Strata Alliance, a multi-family office. Responsibilities: This Role Encompasses Three Different Work Streams and Responsibility Sets

  1. Family Office Alternative Investments
    • Collaborate with Director of Finance on analyzing, executing strategic/financial due diligence, and working through investment opportunities. Opportunities include proprietary direct investments and private equity fund investments.
    • Provide detailed market research and analytics to support the direct investment function
    • Manage day-to-day execution of the capital raise process within the Strata Alliance family network
    • Support Strata Director of Finance with ad hoc tasks and networking with family office and fund partners
  2. Financial Office Business Advisory
    • Provide family office clients with ad-hoc business advisory services to include financial analysis, financial modelling, and business valuation
    • Aid in business advisory services surrounding major liquidity events and/or inorganic growth opportunities to include:
      • Financial modelling, review and analysis
      • Due diligence support / process management – interacting with clients to procure accurate/timely provision of due diligence
      • Market valuation analysis
  3. Family Office Personal Financial Services
    • Aid in ad-hoc financial analyses of HNW client’s personal assets
    • Provide personal financial modelling to aid in wealth planning initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA with finance concentration/M.S. in Finance/Business Analytics/Accounting degree preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience preferred, preferably gained through an investment banking, family office, or private equity role
  • Excel Fluency / Expertise
  • Comfort / Proficiency with Financial Analysis and Financial Statements

Legal Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with and assist attorneys on a variety of litigation matters
  • Make corrections to documents, proofread/format, collate, and organize documents/files
  • Docket and calendar various attorney and Court appearances and deadlines
  • Preparation of court and client documents including exhibits, bookmarking, OCRing, and Bates stamping
  • E-filing
  • Process medical record authorizations and manage process to obtain medical records
  • Document management including scanning, printing, binding, and copying
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong proofreading skills are a must.

  • Work directly with firm leadership on special projects involving important issues impacting the Long Island business community
  • Create and edit various marketing materials including brochures, ads, eblasts, info packets, event information, and website copy for CMM and our strategic partners
  • Assist with drafting, posting, and planning of social media content calendar for CMM and our strategic partners
  • Some graphic design for presentations and whitepapers
  • Administrative tasks to support various initiatives related to communications, marketing, events, and more

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
  • Prior internships or roles pertaining to writing/communications, a plus
  • Must have a love of writing and have strong command of grammar and style
  • Must be interested in the business world and comfortable researching and writing on a variety of business topics

Corporate Associate Attorney (3-5 years)

In this role, you will draft and negotiate various agreements and handle a variety of legal issues that arise in a corporate setting including M&A, joint ventures, commercial leasing, and other high-value corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating a variety of business contracts including asset and stock purchase agreements, license agreements, partnership agreements, supply agreements, employment-related agreements, and joint venture agreements. You will assist in all aspects of complex M&A transactions, including due diligence and drafting and negotiating agreements. You will regularly engage and communicate with clients and advise them on a variety of matters impacting their business.

Qualifications
