Today our IT Manager Jennifer Weeks-Albrecht led the CMM team in a Lunch & Learn training on the ins and outs of Excel! Excel is a great tool, but it can only give you as much as you put in. Jennifer taught our team some of the lesser known tricks, and everyone walked away with some new skills (and stomachs full of pizza!). Training is an important part of CMM’s company culture and we believe that educating our employees not only makes them more efficient, but more well-rounded and helps everyone work together as a team. Today CMM joined HIA-LI to celebrate the Long Island business community at the 25th Annual Business Achievement Awards. CMM Managing Partner and HIA-LI Board Chairman Joe Campolo joined New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone to give remarks in recognition of HIA-LI’s work to shape Long Island's powerhouse economy, anchored by the Long Island Innovation Park at Hauppauge. "The Park is home to an incredible concentration of tradable industries," Joe explained. "Tradable businesses are the only way to recruit young talent and keep our graduates here – otherwise they will be lured away to New York City or Silicon Valley. Our work to reinvent the Park is a national model of how business and government should partner – no political squabbling, just relentless focus. This is how we get things done on Long Island."

Congratulations to the award recipients and finalists, especially our clients and friends!
