CMM congratulates Patrick McCormick and Jeffrey Basso on being selected to receive the 2015 “Leadership in Law” Awards. They will be honored at a gala dinner hosted by the Long Island Business News on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

Patrick McCormick will receive the Partner Award.  Head of the firm’s commercial litigation and appellate practice groups, he received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Fordham University.  Mr. McCormick serves as President of Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS) and as a member of the Board of Directors for Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI).

Jeffrey Basso will receive the Associate Award.  A senior associate in the firm’s commercial litigation and labor and employment groups, Mr. Basso is also an Advisory Board member of Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.  He is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and the University of Delaware.

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick Welcomes the Law Office of Frederick Eisenbud, THE Environmental Law Firm

Ronkonkoma, NY – Campolo, Middleton & McCormick LLP, a premier law firm, is pleased to announce that Frederick Eisenbud has joined the firm Of Counsel and is bringing his Commack-based environmental law firm practice to CMM’s team, effective May 2015, increasing our capacity to serve a broad range of client needs.

As the founder of the Law Office of Frederick Eisenbud, THE Environmental Law Firm, Fred will head CMM’s new environmental practice group, focusing on environmental law and litigation concerns of individuals, companies, municipalities, and community groups. An AV-rated attorney (Martindale-Hubbell’s highest attorney rating), Fred brings his thirty years of experience as an environmental attorney to CMM.

CMM is proud to announce that Joe Campolo has been welcomed to the American Red Cross on Long Island board of directors. The Long Island Red Cross board of directors is comprised of business and community leaders who volunteer their time to help oversee the organization’s mission on Long Island. The Long Island Red Cross responds to approximately 200 disasters a year, and serves more than 2.8 million residents. Joe joins with three other individuals who have also recently joined the Board; J. Bryan Anthony, philanthropist and returning Long Island Red Cross board member; Joseph Louchheim, president of the Press News Group; and Nancy Simmons, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.
