When businesses face legal issues, owners have to make important business decisions. David Green helps clients navigate both.
An award-winning attorney and business leader, David Green approaches legal issues through the broader context of each client’s individual business. He advises business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, family-owned businesses, and closely held companies on the legal and business issues that shape the future of their organizations. His practice includes commercial litigation, corporate transactions, construction matters, shareholder disputes and business advisory.
Known for his practical, business-focused approach, David takes the time to understand each client’s objectives before developing a strategy. He helps clients anticipate risk, resolve disputes efficiently, and make informed decisions that support long-term success.
David has represented clients in high-stakes shareholder disputes, complex construction matters, commercial litigation, trials, appeals, arbitration, and mediation in New York’s state and federal courts, including the Commercial Division. He also plays an active leadership role at CMM, helping lead attorney development and the firm’s technology and artificial intelligence initiatives.
David also serves as President of the Sea Cliff Village Library Board of Trustees, where he has led long overdue policy and bylaw updates in support of one of the North Shore’s leading community institutions.
Whether advising a growing business, negotiating a transaction, or resolving a complex dispute, his focus is always on helping clients make informed decisions that position them for long-term success.
David is based in CMM’s Westbury and Ronkonkoma offices.
