CMM recently reported that our municipal liability team had secured the dismissal of a lawsuit filed against longtime client the Town of Riverhead. Less than a month later, we did it again! Following testimony and written discovery in this slip-and-fall case, we made a motion to have the Town let out of the case on the grounds that it could not be held responsible in any way for the plaintiff’s injuries. Thanks to the diligent work of Scott Middleton, Meghan Dolan, and David Green, the Court agreed with our arguments and dismissed the case against the Town. Great work, team!
