CMM | Campolo, Middleton, McCormick, LLP

Meagan Nolan is a member of CMM’s Litigation Department, representing clients in various commercial, personal injury, and insurance defense matters. She handles municipal and insurance defense cases, construction contract disputes and lien issues, and shareholder actions. Meagan plays a critical role in all facets of these matters, from assessing claims and drafting pleadings, through discovery and resolution. She routinely conducts depositions and drafts and argues dispositive motions. She also plays a hands-on role in trial and appellate preparation, including preparing trial motions and drafting appellate briefs. Meagan also assists in resolving cases out of court, through mediation and arbitration.

Meagan joined CMM as a Summer Associate in 2021. In law school, she was an Associate Editor of Hofstra Law Review and her note, “Food for Thought: Increasing Access to and Coverage of Eating Disorder Treatment in New York State by Amending the Definition of ‘Substance Use Disorder,’” was published in 2021.

Prior to her admission to the New York State Bar, Meagan worked as a legal assistant at a landlord-tenant firm, where she worked on tax credit recertification cases and developed a working knowledge of housing subsidies and summary proceedings. She also interned with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York, where she observed the intersection of business and financial issues which provided her with a solid foundation for her current work in both commercial and construction-related litigation.

Meagan is an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and enjoys sailing, skiing, and kayaking.
