Anna Sorto is a member of CMM’s Corporate Department, working closely with our corporate team to assist with a variety of matters including corporate governance, corporate formation, and business and employment agreements.

In law school, Anna was a member of the Touro Law Review, and was selected to present her note, “Are Chapter 13 Trustees Allowed to Keep Fees Prior to Case Confirmation? The Answer Should Be No.” to the Federal Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Student Scholars Section.

Anna joined CMM as a Fall Extern in 2024 and returned as a Law Clerk in 2025. During law school, Anna worked for the Small Business Clinic, where she assisted clients with their business inquiries to ensure corporate formalities were followed. Additionally, Anna interned for Teacher’s Federal Credit Union and Rothco.

Anna graduated from Stony Brook University with a master’s degree in Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
