On this difficult 20th anniversary, Joe Campolo shared his thoughts: “Our memories of September 11, 2001 will haunt us for the rest of our lives. It was a monumental event for all who were alive to experience it, and its aftermath had a devastating effect on humanity. Let us honor those who unnecessarily died in these attacks by focusing on the greatness that unites us as Americans. Remember the innocent men and women who were murdered, and the brave firefighters and police who risked and gave their lives to try and help save others.
