At HIA-LI’s 48th Annual Meeting & Legislative Program, Joe Campolo moderated a panel of elected officials before an audience of more than 400 business leaders. Panelists included local and state leaders including US Congressman Nick LaLota, Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine, Town of Smithtown Supervisor Ed Wehrheim, NY State Senator Monica Martinez, and Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer Anthony Piccirillo. The discussion highlighted key priorities for 2026, including housing development and affordability, sewer expansion, transportation improvements, and waste management solutions.
