Katherine Cutrone is a member of the firm’s litigation group, where she focuses on employment matters as well as sophisticated commercial litigation. Her practice includes representing clients in administrative disputes (including those before the United States Department of Labor, the New York State Department of Labor, and the New York State Division of Human Rights) as well as employment-related litigation including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour, and breach of contract cases. Her litigation experience includes representing small businesses, large corporations, municipalities, and individuals in a variety of complex matters.

Prior to joining CMM, Katherine worked for a Long Island insurance litigation and defense firm. Before that, Katherine went to law school at night while working full-time for a prominent nationwide insurance company handling homeowner and motor vehicle litigation claims and serving local customers. In addition to her nearly 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, Katherine also worked as a server in restaurants throughout college as well as on weekends while working full-time. Her strong customer service background has strongly shaped the type of attorney she is, giving her the ability to provide specialized guidance and empathy for each client’s unique needs.

In law school, Katherine provided pro bono family law services to local residents through the school’s divorce clinic. She serves her community through volunteer and charity work at organizations dedicated to animal rescue, fighting hunger, and supporting veterans. Born in New York City and raised in Suffolk County, Katherine has strong ties to the community and is motivated to continue her advocacy work through her legal representation of businesses and residents in need.
