Elizabeth Savasta, SHRM-CP spearheads the Human Resources Department and works closely with CMM’s leadership on firm-wide initiatives. She creates and enacts policies and procedures, ensures firm compliance, and implements competitive compensation and benefits programs. Improving staff retention is an important part of Elizabeth’s role, which she accomplishes through employee engagement, training, and executing new initiatives to enhance the workplace.
With over 18 years of experience in the legal field, Elizabeth has in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of a law firm and the expertise to create and implement procedures to ensure efficiency, quality service to clients, and a positive atmosphere for employees. Elizabeth plays a critical role by managing the daily administrative operations at CMM, including overseeing firm processes and operations; liaising with attorneys, department heads, clients, and vendors; and managing legal and administrative support staff.
Elizabeth began her career as a paralegal focusing on a variety of sophisticated litigation, eventually taking on supervisory roles where she focused on improving efficiency, increasing profitability, and managing professional development initiatives for colleagues.
