Ashley Cohen is a member of our Corporate department where she works on M&A-related matters and a variety of other corporate transactions. Her corporate work includes shareholder, licensing, and employment agreements as well as executive and general employment matters. She also assists with mediation work and has advised on SEC compliance.

Prior to CMM, Ashley worked at a Nassau County law firm where she worked on a number of intellectual property matters including brand protection, patent evaluations, trademark applications and intellectual property infringement claims, in addition to drafting and reviewing business agreements. Ashley also has experience in drafting various corporate transactional documents such as non-compete, sell-through, and purchase agreements.

In law school, Ashley was a member of Hofstra University’s Trial Advocacy Association – Mock Trial. She also worked at a Fortune 300 global medical and dental supplies distributor within their in-house legal department. There, Ashley analyzed SEC compliance, contract, employment, and litigation issues as well as ensured conformity with corporate compliance regulations. Following her second year of law school, Ashley served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Justice Joseph J. Esposito of the Queens County Supreme Court, where she drafted and researched opinions and other substantive motions.
