Description

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP, a premier law firm with offices in Westbury, Ronkonkoma, and Bridgehampton, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, full-time associate to handle sophisticated transactional work including mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, and general corporate matters. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, draft, and analyze a wide variety of contracts, leases, and related agreements
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial deals
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including conducting due diligence, and maintaining data rooms and schedules
  • Represent emerging growth enterprises, startups, and other new entities from the ground up
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on current/developing laws affecting our clients

Basic Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice in the State of New York with 2-4 years post-admission experience
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated record of attention to detail, sense of urgency, ability to handle and prioritize substantial workload
  • Strategic thinker, with excellent business judgment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, with a strong commitment to personal growth and development
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ProLaw or ShareFile is a plus
