Description

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP, a premier law firm with offices in Westbury, Ronkonkoma, and Bridgehampton, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and creative Manager of Business and Community Development to attract new clients, strengthen relationships with existing clients, and cultivate relationships with additional centers of influence to support and drive revenue growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify new client opportunities through networking, research, and other forms of lead generation
  • Attend networking events and knowledgeably express our firm’s offerings to new clients
  • Expand sales and foster long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Cultivate relationships with additional centers of influence
  • Develop new business opportunities in accordance with our market development strategy
  • Lead, provide strategic direction, and execute on business development projects
  • Collaborate with attorneys and different legal departments to optimize cross functional efforts

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of core business development and sales principals in professional services, including client targeting and client relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with clients and internally throughout the firm
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Able to exercise good judgement and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to organize work and tasks with thorough attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, with a strong commitment to personal growth and development
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
