Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP, a premier law firm with offices in Ronkonkoma and Bridgehampton, is pleased to welcome Michael J. Bignami II, Esq., to the firm as an Associate. He previously worked at the firm as a Summer Associate and a Law Clerk.
A member of the firm’s Corporate department, Bignami works extensively on transactional work and contract drafting. He also handles labor and employment as well as commercial real estate work for corporate clients. During law school, Bignami worked as a general manager in a restaurant. Working side-by-side with the owner, Bignami gained a unique perspective on the complexities of running a business. This valuable business experience informs his point of view as an attorney and solidified his interest in working with corporate clients to help their businesses prosper.
The West Islip resident graduated from York College of Pennsylvania and Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Prior to joining the firm, Bignami was a legal intern for the Brookhaven Town Attorney’s Office and was also a pro bono legal intern for the Veterans’ and Servicemembers’ Rights Clinic. He currently serves on the Suffolk County Legislature’s NextGen Advisory Council, which gives millennials a seat at the table to address issues including affordable housing, ride-sharing services, renewable energy, and water protection.
