Reflecting the firm’s continued growth, Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP – recently recognized by Forbes as a Top Corporate Law Firm in America – is pleased to welcome Ashley Tibett, Esq., as an Associate. She first joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2019 and then returned as Law Clerk in 2020 after graduating from Boston University School of Law and is now admitted to practice in New York State.
A member of the firm’s Corporate department, Tibett focuses on transactional and construction-related matters including drafting and negotiating business agreements and frequently works on financing transactions and corporate governance matters. Working with our mergers and acquisitions team, Tibett has also helped the department close multiple M&A deals across various industries.
“Ashley brings tremendous hard work and focus to the Corporate team,” said CMM Partner and Construction practice group chair Donald Rassiger. “The growth of our practice requires an all-hands-on-deck approach, making Ashley’s addition to the team a very welcome one.”
The Smithtown native received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo. In law school, Tibett was the executive editor of the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal and served as a Student Attorney in her law school’s Environmental Law Practicum for the Alternatives for Community and Environment. In this role, she had the opportunity to draft a white paper analyzing techniques used in other major cities and recommending a best path forward for Boston. Tibett also worked as a Judicial Intern for Administrative Judge Neile F. Eisner in an EEOC District Office.
