Gruber, an experienced corporate and securities lawyer, has joined the firm as Of Counsel.  The Farmingdale resident brings over two and a half decades of in-house and law firm experience serving businesses at all stages of development.

Gruber’s practice includes business formation, mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial agreements, licensing, corporate finance and capital raising, public offerings, private placements, corporate governance, compensation and stock incentive plans, internal company policies, and compliance with SEC and stock exchange rules.  She represents clients in many industries including technology, entertainment, hospitality, and professional practices.  Trained and certified in commercial mediation, Gruber will also be working with the firm’s expanding mediation practice.  She has served as a neutral on several mediation panels, including the New York State Supreme Court, Suffolk County Commercial Division.

Prior to joining the firm, Gruber practiced corporate and securities law at her own law firm (where she continues to practice) and at large New York City and Long Island firms.  She also served as Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary to Ampex Corporation, a technology company, where she was responsible for corporate finance, licensing, and securities compliance matters.  Gruber is a graduate of Stony Brook University and Fordham University School of Law.  She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Professional Communications at Farmingdale State College and has lectured at the Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society.
